My friend and I fellow Blogger Franky J went to the free shopping event at Niemans. I think I mentioned it before…well I’m sure I did.

When I first walked in I gravitated here of course.

I had such a great time, we were greated at the door by CityShopGirl.com. We received our cocktail rings the allowed us to recieve a free blush from  the Bobbie Brown Counter. I was worried since it was one color being given our to everybody, but they where smart enough to get shade that worked on everybody at least my skin tone

There was a create your own cupcake Bar. The couple who run this bakery met on match.com, and opened up this bakery. They also have a book coming out about their story. I met the husband, he was so nice.

Everything as good. I also had a drink called a Georgia Peach …it had corn Whiskey in it…thats all I will say…

I also had the Jumbo. It was so yummy…and it could have been eaten as a meal with the yummy cornbread they served.

Our waitress was a pretty lady named Stacy…She was so good that she got a $25 dollar tip from us. She was the best actually. She suggested that we make reservations if we come during the night on Friday thru Sunday.

Had the pleasure of having a late night dinner date with the new guy I’m dating. Recently I lost a bet and took him to Vapianos …after we ate we decided to walk around Dupont Circle. It was about 12:00 am when we started walking back to the car and we saw that one restaurant was still open. Rogue States had a warm hip diner feel. As i sneaked to use their bathroom…I walked past the counter and noticed the huge burger patties.  I kept walking….

A few days later I got a call at 10 pm…” burger joint? “…needless to say I was curious to see if this place was better then BGR which is located on the other side of Dupont. Nothing in my thoughts was better than a Medium cooked “Wellington” burger from BGR. I walked in the door to Tupac blasting throughout the restaurant. I grabbed a seat…and noticed that they only had about seven choices for the burgers. Everything looks delicious including the “Curried Away” Burger. Anybody that knows me, knows my love for Curry. I decided against it though, and set my eyes on ” no burger, no cry” .  I can’t even describe how good my burger was. I selected Onions, lettuce and tomato and Provolone Cheese. I think hands down it might have been the best burger I have ever eaten.  This was only seven bucks. I couldn’t believe it. They fused all the jerk spices into the burger patty like the rest of the sandwiches which in my opinion minimized on all the mess. I also had fries…and nice portion that I shared for 2.50.

The burgers weren’t messy, they were well put together and I wish for the life of me that I had taken a picture of that sandwich. Best of they stay open until 5 am every morning. So those of you looking for place to chow down after a late night at Adams Morgan this is the place for you .  They also have a decent selection of wines, and beers aside from your normal Soda and Teas. I would highly recommend that you hit this spot up. The Chef over a Lima is the genius behind these beefy pieces of heaven.

My Music Collection is Vast…I must admit I haven’t given a lot of DC artist a chance. I’m slowly changing though. I really wish i could make it out to this event. Phil ade has a lot of buzz….I wouldn’t call it buzz anymore. He is getting to be a big thing around dc. I have heard a few of his songs and a few videos…but i’m so old fashioned and studdorn it takes a lot for me to download new CD’s and music on my iPod. Anywho the concert is May 5th…i know Cinco De Mayo. I’m going to try and stop by but i have my Cinco De Mayo Duties to a tend to!
