I was never a fan of Root Beer Floats…in fact I hate root beer.  Anyway AGAINN puts a different spin on it…using the good stuff; real beer. So I think I may slide through and try one of these pretty soon.  Info below provided by CITYSHOPGIRL.com

This summer AGAINN offers a treat to beat the heat by offering one of three beer float creations. Priced at $9 each, the Guinness Beer Float with Madagascar Vanilla Bean Ice Cream; Guinness Beer with Stout Ice Cream, and Vanilla Cream Soda with Strawberry Ripple Ice Cream are each served in a cold clear glass with four scoops of ice cream and topped with fresh whipped cream for extra decadence.

I linked up with my Best Friend Ken last night! We both go to school, we both work, and it’s finally paying off she is getting one of her many degrees at the end of this upcoming quarter.  So we went out and ventured in Georgetown.

It was really sad to see how many stores and restaurants  that are landmarks in Georgetown shutting down.

We walked around and window shopped!  Had so much fun!

I had to give a shout out to Spring first! I got a mani with a new creamy green color.  I got my toes in this color also…I’m so in love with it.

I think I might swing past the event. I saw a nice scarf that I really want there. Everything is on sale, can’t really beat that.

Ladies I went here last year and had a blast. Free Drinks all night (must be 21 to enter). Freebies, and a ton on local and none local vendors. I got so much loot the last time I was there. Not to mention the GoodBags…They deserve a post of their own. I’m still using the products from my goodie bag from last year.

Purchase your tickets! I’m going on Thursday April 15th. Hope to see you there.

I’m working on becoming a Sheckys Socialista…I guess my application wasn’t submitted like I though.

Anyway. My friend Dana is a Socialista so if you get a ticket there is a section that ask how were you referred, the drop down box should have Socialista there, and then you type in her name. >>>Dana James
