This post is pretty Random, but Two women and a man told me that they love that I keep my brows tamed. One even said they remember the before look and it’s a drastic change… o_O okay thanks…I think.

Offering premier skin care and makeup services, NicoleAlexis, a licensed esthetician and makeup artist has been showcasing her talent throughout the Washington, DC Metropolitan area since 2006.

I use Nicole for my Brows…She is a true artist. I’m not just saying that. She also does lashes, facials, and make-up.  I know the intial price of her work is a little up there but the maintanence is about the same that you would pay at the Nail salon… I personally know that I would rather pay for the quality of having someone listen, take their time, and show me what they are doing before just snatching off hair . Am I right?

So I will say this…only the serious should seek her out.

This is where I get my hair cut. My Stylist Is named Cocoa.  All I can say is that I have seen her transform some people in there.  I was natural for about a year and a half. I went to my normal hair stylist, and she didn’t listen to what I really wanted. I searched and searched for someone who could cut my hair.

I stumbled upon Cocoa when I was looking for someone to do my hair Natural..I never went back to get my hair done. I figure I would give her a try.

I took her one picture front and side view…You know who the picture was of??? I will tell you this… My grandfather saw me and said  Hey “Miss Brianna” ( Rihanna for old folks) …She listened, she carfully cute my hair, and her prices are very good.

Yes I jacked Rihanna’s style but ya’ll know the chick changes her hair like every week…sue me

Yes I’m on a diet for lack of better words. I told myself that I wouldn’t eat out so much, maybe 2 times a month. I can save with a good mind that just used those two times up. Already.  BGR The Burger Joint is a nice spot I found with my mom one day while exploring Dupont Circle.  Its a new place, with Burgers as colorful and eclectic as its inside decor. I fell in love with the Wellington Burger.

The Wellington

This was by far our most popular burger of the month. Roasted mushrooms, caramelized onions, garlic with a touch of mustard seed and blue cheese all atop our burger. Served on a fresh, buttery-toasted brioche bun with our mojo sauce.

Its different whole baby mushrooms with Blue Cheese.  Yes it sounds a bit weird, but guess what? Its yummy, and with someone who has eaten out alot in my hayday. My yaste buds are quiet different. Your talking about someone who once made a Burger with a Bagel and Cream Cheese…well anyway that’s the past :) So anyway back to the Burger Joint.  There is no wait staff, but its a fun little place to sit and have a few good laughs and yummy guilty food.

They have a great menu including the Famous 9 Pound Burger

The 9 Pounder

As featured on The Travel Channel, Food Network, and in an official I.F.O.C. competitive eating contest. Actual weight including bun and condiments is 15.4 pounds. Two heads of lettuce, eight tomatoes, three red onions, four whole pickles and a river of our mojo. Comes with a bottle of Maalox. If one person can eat it in one sitting it’s free.

Tables at BGR

Wondered how that taste…I’m that much of a sweets person to actually try that. Creative though , I think anybody would be bouncing off the walls after that.

Their Lighting Fixtures where cool.

To Go Please…Won’t do that again haha

The picture of my burger doesn’t look so hot…I actually took it home with me, and It got a little soggy by the time my thermos with coffee in it crushed the burger while I was driving. Trust me its good I paired it with a salad not that would have really mattered. I swear it looked neater, and let greasy before they wrapped it haha.

- Melissa Fortune

I recently came across this page while visiting my girl Franky J’s Page . I’m all about accessories, shoes, earrings, don’t care if  they are danky, or expensive investment pieces.  I was feeling some kind of way from constant calls from my “dried up” ex when i ordered these raxor blade earrings.  They came in the mail, and I was very surprised at the quality for $14.00 plus shipping. I don’t know what i expected, but I loved them when I got them in the mail.  Since i clearly can’t wear them to work, I’ve been itching to wear them…and have yet to get out in the winter cold and go out. Yeah I know they are a bit bold…and I did recieve a couple of side eyes when i showed them to my friends. Ask me how I feel when I start giving a damn though. :)

The designed at Created by Fortune has some cool stuff that i hope to collect. I’m a Chuck Taylor fan she studds the chucks herself. They are a bit pricey but if you like Chucks they are a unique take on the shoe.

She also has two jewelry collections.

I did a review on this sometime ago, or my Blogger Account. I purchased about two pair of earrings from LaBella. I love them. I brought a pair of Golden Star Earrings, and a Pair of Silver Sparkled Hoops. I got alot of attention with them!

I wanted to share more pictures of info for those are interested.

VIA ELLE

16852543_040_bI brought this shoe at Urban Outfitters.

I don’t know why i remember paying 56.00 But the website says $48.00. Sucks for me huh? Anyway, these shoes are very comfortable, and the heel is large enough to support those who don’t wear heels to often. This is a great shoe for those who want something you can rock to work, and wear to play.

clinique trio

I was on the train, and a women asked me what my skin regimen. Well I will say this first. Water is my best friend. A lot of soda is not only bad for me , but bad for my skin. I’m to the point where if i drink something sweet I have to brush my teeth right afterward or drink a whole bottle of water.  I have combination skin, and it took me a few trips to Nordstroms to get this combination correct. I don’t know about Proactive or anything, but I have been using this for about 2 or 3 years and my skin I would say is nice. I rarely get pimples, and when I do get them, they only last about 2 days.

  1. Drink Lots Water
  2. I use Clinique Step Program
  • STEP ONE – Mild Liquid Soap (Normal to Dry Skin)  $15.00
  • STEP TWO – Exfoliate (Dry Combination) $11.50
  • STEP THREE-   Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel ( Oily Skin) $24.00

Repeat Twice A Day. Now i know its looks weird and what not. I have combination skin. Once I use Step Number Two My skin is super Thirsty for Step Three.
